Canoga Park: Four Stabbed During Wedding At Banquet Hall

09.01.2019 | 12:15 AM | LOS ANGELES – Four people were stabbed during a wedding at a banquet hall, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing with multiple patients at the Venus Banquet Hall located in the 20800 block of Sherman Way in the Canoga Park area around 12:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene located four people suffering from stab wounds inside a banquet hall.

Firefighter paramedics treated and transported two patients to area hospitals in unknown condition. Another two patients were also transported to area hospitals by private parties.

Initial reports indicate a suspect described as a male hispanic approximately 50-60 years old wearing a cowboy hat, multicolored shirt, and blue jeans began stabbing attendees of a wedding reception being held at the banquet hall.

The suspect remains at large and the motive for the stabbing was under investigation.
