Campbell: Tesla Catches Fire Again At Tow Yard

12.18.2018 | 10:00 PM | CAMPBELL – A Tesla Model S that was towed after catching fire caught fire for a second time, Tuesday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a car fire at Dick’s Auto in the 800 block of Camden around 10:00 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a tow yard with flames showing from a wrecked Tesla Model S.

Within minutes firefighters doused the car fire which authorities report had caught fire earlier in the day before being towed.

The fire appeared to emanate from the vehicle’s battery packs underneath.

No injuries were reported.
