Campbell: DUI Driver Crashes, Nearly Falls Into Creek

12.24.2018 | 3:30 AM | CAMPBELL – A suspected DUI driver was under arrest after crashing and nearly falling into a creek, Monday morning.

Authorities responded to a reported crash near the Los Gatos Creek and Creekside Way around 3:30 AM.

Crews arriving on scene found a sedan that was hanging over the edge of a trail below the Los Gatos Creek and worked to stabilize the car.

The driver was interviewed by police before being placed into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.

It took two tow trucks to pull the car from its precarious position before it could be impounded.
