Camarillo: Stolen Truck Found Abandoned & Engulfed In Flames

04.07.2019 | 11:37 PM | CAMARILLO – A truck that had been reported stolen was found abandoned and engulfed in flames, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire near the intersection of Laguna and Wood roads around 11:37 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found an abandoned pickup truck engulfed in flames and began efforts to douse the fire.

The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes before it could spread to nearby vegetation.

Officers discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen and requested an arson investigator to the scene.
