Camarillo: Military Train Hauling Tanks Departs Naval Base Ventura County

03.27.2020 | 1:30 AM | CAMARILLO – A military train hauling tanks was seen departing Naval Base Ventura County in what authorities are calling normal operations, early Friday morning.

Video showed a train leaving Naval Base Ventura County with a large number of tanks and traveling through Camarillo around 1:30 AM.

Several military trains of similar nature have been seen in past days leaving the base but a statement from military officials indicate the movements are routine in nature.

It is believed the COVID-19 pandemic has brought heightened public awareness to these movements.
