Camarillo: Man Pistol Whipped During Carjacking Attempt

06.10.2019 | 9:20 PM | CAMARILLO – A man was hospitalized after being pistol whipped during an attempted carjacking, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a carjacking on Pleasant Valley Road near Airport Way around 9:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male bleeding from his head who reported he had been pistol whipped by a man who attempted to carjack him.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The suspected carjacker was described only as a male dressed in all black. He was last seen fleeing in a black Cadillac sedan.
