Camarillo: Four People Escape Serious Injuries After Car Rolls Over Guardrail

02.29.2020 | 1:24 AM | CAMARILLO – Four people escaped serious injury after the vehicle they were riding in overturned onto and over a guardrail causing major damage, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with an overturned vehicle on the southbound I-101 Freeway between Las Posas Road and Carmen Drive around 1:24 AM.

Units arriving on scene located an overturned vehicle occupied by four individuals.

Initial reports indicate the driver of the overturned vehicle was attempting to avoid debris in the road when he struck another car causing the vehicle to collide with a guardrail and overturn.

Firefighter paramedics treated and transported one patient from the scene. Several others were evaluated but refused medical treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
