Caldor Fire Rapidly Grows Overnight | South Lake Tahoe

08.31.2021 | 11:30 PM | SOUTH LAKE TAHOE – Firefighters continue to battle the growing Caldor Fire Tuesday night, and the National Guard has been deployed. National guard members can be seen on scene of the blaze manning closures and refueling fire vehicles. Firefighters are spending their night battling large flare ups and spot fires. New evacuation orders were placed for areas across the Nevada state line. Emergency personnel are bracing for another predicted tough day of battling the fire.
