Businesses Evacuated Due To Gas Major Leak, Riverside, CA

LOCATION:18590 VAN BUREN BLVD, STE A2
AREA/CITY:Riverside
DETAILS:

  1. Riverside fire department responded for a gas leak.
  2. According to dispatch the reporting party, who is at a business heard a loud pop and then they had a major gas leak.
  3. When firefighters arrived they found an underground vault with a major gas leak.
  4. A full Hazmat units have been requested and all the surrounding businesses are being evacuated.
  5. The businesses that have been evacuated are a Subway, Wingstop, O’Reilly Auto Parts, nail spa, barber shop and a dry cleaner, Baja Grill, Demattos Pizza, Edgar Insurance and Ramona Tire.
  6. In the video you can hear the high pressure gas leaking.
  7. The entire shopping center has been evacuated and is closed.
  8. SoCal Gas has arrived and no injuries have been reported.
