Burglary Suspect Overdoses On Fentanyl After Being Taken Into Custody

DETAILS:

1. Police responded to a report of a male attempting to open business doors on Midway Ave.
2. As the officers approached the male, he fled on a red bicycle.
3. The male made it to the back parking lot of the Pechanga Arena.
4. The Police were able to detain him.
5. As they were processing the male, he started to overdose and told the officers he had taken fentanyl.
6. Paramedics were called, and the suspect was transported to a local hospital.
7. The bike was freshly painted, a sign that the bike may have been stolen.
