Burbank: Man Trapped Inside Car After Crash Into Forklift

07.08.2020 | 3:24 AM | BURBANK – A man was trapped inside a car after crashing into a forklift on a freeway, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with a person possible trapped on the southbound I-5 Freeway near Burbank Boulevard around 3:24 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a black SUV that had crashed into a large forklift parked at a construction site along the freeway.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside and had to be freed using the Jaws of Life.

Once freed firefighter paramedics transported the man to an area hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
