Buena Park: Motorcyclist Dead After Rear-Ending Car

04.04.2019 | 12:35 AM | BUENA PARK – A motorcyclist was dead after slamming into the rear of a vehicle as it turned into a driveway, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash involving a motorcyclist near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and La Palma around 12:35 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a motorcyclist down in the roadway and a sedan with rear-end damage.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the motorcycle rider deceased on scene and transported the driver of the sedan to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended the sedan that had slowed to turn into a driveway.

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
