Brush Fire Threatens Homes, 1 Structure Destroyed | Anza

08.24.2021 | 1:38 PM | ANZA – Evacuations were being made as a brush fire burned into the evening near Anza. Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire just after 1:30 pm this evening, and located a 10 acre vegetation fire. Winds quickly picked up and the fire began to grow at a rapid rate of spread. Multiple additional resources were requested including water dropping helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. Just after 4:00 PM, one structure was reportedly destroyed in the fire.
