Brush Fire Scorches 4 Acres During Dry Heat Wave | Riverside

04.06.2022 | 6:00 PM | RIVERSIDE – Riverside City Fire Department responded to a report of a vegetation fire just north of the Solar Farm. The site is a 50 x 50 spot with no threat to infrastructure, but there is a threat to life with the many homeless camps in the river bottom. The wind shifted, and the fire burned back towards firefighters, jumping the hose line burning up the hose. The forward progress was stopped at 4acres.
