Brush Fire Burns in Camp Pendleton

09.23.20 | 12:20 PM | CAMP PENDLETON – Emergency crews responded to reports of a brush fire on the Northbound Interstate 5 and Las Pulgas in Camp Pendleton. Upon arrival, they found flames that were running up the hillside towards the interior of the base. Incident commanders called for additional help from neighboring agencies including a water dropping helicopter. The fire has grew to well over 30 acres. A dozer was called to help contain the fire.
