Brea: Suspect Dead After Officer-Involved Shooting

02.25.2020 | 5:30 PM | BREA – A man was dead after an officer-involved shooting in Carbon Canyon Regional Park, Tuesday evening.

Authorities are investigating after an officer involved shooting involving a Brea police officer at the Carbon Canyon Regional Park located in the 4400 block of Carbon Canyon Road around 5:30 PM.

The suspect who was shot to death was pronounced deceased.

No injuries to any officers were reported.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation and no further details were immediately released.
