Brea: Laundry Room Fire Spreads Throughout Home

01.08.2019 | 12:50 AM | BREA – Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire that spread from a home’s laundry room, Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the reported structure fire in the 100 block of East Date Street around 12:50 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a two-story home with fire showing from the first floor and initiated an aggressive fire attack.

Within 12 minutes crews had extinguished the bulk of the fire which appeared centered around a laundry room.

A family of six was displaced as a result of the fire but no injuries were reported.

Investigators are on scene to determine the cause.
