Brea: Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Canyon Brush Fire
10.30.2019 | 11:50 AM | BREA – A brush fire that broke out in a canyon was quickly contained to 16 acres, Wednesday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a brush fire burning along the SR-57 Freeway and Brea Canyon Road around 11:50 AM.
Crews arriving on scene located an approximately two acre brush fire that quickly jumped the freeway.
Using resources in the air and on the ground firefighters quickly contained the fire to approximately 16 acres.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries or evacuations were reported.
