- The Bonny Fire is on day two and has made an explosive run toward the southern Anza Region.
- After skunking and smoldering throughout the night into the wilderness of the mountains, at around 1 PM, it was reported that the fire made a strong slope reversal, turned 180 degrees, and started running north towards the large community of ranch homes.
- Firefighters and aircraft are making a stand with a slew of resources for structure protection.
- The rate of spread has since slowed a bit as firefighters wait for the main flame front to arrive from the mountains.
- Evacuation orders have been extended.
