Bonita: Man Stabbed To Death After Traffic Collision

11.27.2018 | 8:30 AM | BONITA – A man was dead after a minor traffic collision escalated into a stabbing, Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a fight after a traffic collision at the intersection of Sweetwater Road and Willow Street around 8:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a minor two-vehicle crash with one man on the ground being administered CPR by a good Samaritan.

Authorities quickly determined that the man down was the driver of a vehicle that reportedly read-ended a pick-up truck.

Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene took over CPR and continued to attempt life-saving measures before pronouncing the male victim deceased on scene.

According to witnesses the victim rear-ended the suspect’s truck before the suspect, who was seen wearing a FedEx uniform, got out of his vehicle and approached the other driver.

The suspect then reportedly began hitting the victim before pulling out a knife and continuing to stab the victim inside his vehicle.

The victim exited his vehicle before stumbling to the ground before a bystanders intervened.

Authorities had the suspected attacked detained while they conducted n investigation.
