Bloomington: Multiple Vehicles Struck By Gunfire On Freeway

10.10.2019 | 10:40 AM | BLOOMINGTON – One person was taken into custody after reportedly shooting at multiple vehicles on a busy freeway, Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to multiple calls regarding vehicles being struck by gunfire on the westbound I-10 Freeway at the Cedar Avenue off ramp around 10:40 AM.

Units arriving on scene located multiple vehicles with damage consistent with a small caliber firearm.

A male suspect was located near the top of the Cedar Avenue off ramp and was taken into custody without incident.

No injuries were reported and the circumstances surrounding the shootings remain under investigation.
