Beyone’s Childhood Home Ruined In Fire

AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1. HFD responded to reports of a house on fire
2. arriving companies located a 2 story house with heavy fire showing from the front
3. Firefighters mounted an aggressive fire attack, getting the bulk of the fire knocked down in the first 10 minutes
4. 1st arriving companies arrived within 3-5 minnutes
5. no reports of injuries, as the couple and their 2 small children self evacuated prior to HFD arrival
6. The house is Beyonce’s childhood home (see link above)
7. Firefighters got the bulk of the fire down, and then had to cut into the roof to clear the attic and eves under control
