08.04.2020 | 1:15 AM | LOS ANGELES – An NFL draft party at a mansion ended with a shooting that left a woman dead and two others seriously injured, early Tuesday morning.

The shooting broke out at a mansion in the 13200 block of Mulholland Highway in the Beverly Crest area around 1:15 AM.

Units arriving on scene were met by an onslaught of partygoers, some who became unruly, before determining that three individuals had been struck by gunfire.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the victims to area hospitals in critical condition. One of the victims, described as an approximately 35-year-old female, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Earlier in the night officers responded to the mansion after receiving reports of a large party with attendees violating COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.

The party was being hosted to celebrate the recent draft of an NFL player. That player or his team were not immediately identified.

The shooting is believed to be gang-related but an investigation is ongoing.
