Bellflower: Man Shot To Death Outside Motel, Suspect Captured

05.20.20 | 9:43 PM | BELLFLOWER – A man was shot to death outside a motel and the suspected shooter was in custody, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with man down outside a motel located in the 16100 block of Bellflower Boulevard around 9:43 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim down suffering from multiple gunshot wounds after witnesses say a man in a ski mask opened fire.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the victim deceased on scene and learned that the suspected shooter fled in a dark-colored Ford Mustang.

Deputies spotted a vehicle matching the suspect’s and performed a traffic stop on Colorado Avenue in Paramount.

The driver of the vehicle complied with officers and was later taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting.
