Beaumont: Apple Fire Continues Destructive Path Near Cherry Valley
08.01.2020 | 2:00 PM | BEAUMONT – The destructive Apple Fire continued to burn in CherryValley, destroying at least three buildings and scorching over 4,000 acres, Saturday evening.
Flames from the fire destroyed at least three buildings and forced evacuation orders to remain in effect along Bluff Street.
Firefighters were battling the blaze from the air and ground and successfully defended the Banning Heights Mutual Water compound.
Over 4,000 acres have burned and the fire is expected to continue growing.
No injuries were immediately reported.
At last report the fire was 0% contained.
