Bearsun Walking From LA to NYC For Charities | Williams, AZ

07.28.2021 | 6:00 PM | WILLIAMS, AZ – For 24 days, Jesse Larios, aka Bearsun who is from Los Angeles has been walking from Los Angeles to Times Square in New York City.

He is currently just outside of Flagstaff Arizona, he walks alone with nothing but a backpack, a tent and enough food to get him to his next stop.

He is currently following Route 66.

Today he is walking in the rain, you can see the rain falling lightly in the video but it fell very heavy at times.

He is walking in effort to raise money for multiple charities such as MENTAL HEALTH (Active Minds), AUTISM (Autism Society for America), CANCER (National Breast Cancer Foundation), DISABLED COMMUNITY (Villa Esperanza), ENVIROMENTAL (Environmental Defends).

Bearsun has over 123,000 social media followers and is documenting his journey on social media.  When he goes live  on social media, various times throughout the day he has upwards of 10,000 people watching.

So far he has raised over $20,000 on this trip, On July 22, he reached his first goal in raising $15,000 for the Autism Society of America.

Jesse Designed the character Bearsun along with a friend.

His first charity walk in April, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, he raised over $17,000, for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

He walks about 20 to 30 miles a day.
