Barricaded Suspect Taken Into Custody After Being Tear Gassed

DETAILS:

1. Two suspects barricaded inside of a grey Toyota Prius for unknown reasons
2. It is unclear what the suspects were wanted for
3. One male (passenger) was taken into custody peacefully
4. The driver remained inside of the car
5. The male could be seen using a cell phone & smoking a cigarette
6. Officers tried to convince the suspect to exit peacefully however he refused
7. LAPD officers used less lethal to break the windows of the Prius
8. Officers then deployed tear gas into the car
9. Shortly after the suspect exited the vehicle with his hands up
10. Officers quickly took the suspect into custody
11. No information was given at the scene
