Barn Fire Spreads to Brush in Valley Center
10.03.2020 | 1:46 AM | VALLEY CENTER – Crews responded to reports of a stricture fire in thw 12000 block of Lilac Hill.
Upon arrival, they found a fully engulfed structure on fire that had spread to the nearby brush.
Crews were able to knock down flames within 20 minutes.
Per Chief Napier, the fire could have been catastrophic had it occurred during Santa Ana winds.
The building is believed to be a barn but is currently under investigation by the fire district marshal.
No injuries were reported.
