Azusa: Man Gunned Down In Residential Area

06.01.2019 | 11:15 PM | AZUSA – A man was dead after being gunned down in a residential area, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Newburgh Street and Rockvale Avenue around 11:15 Pm.

Units arriving on scene found a male victim in the roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics performed life-saving measures but the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

A crime scene was established while homicide investigators responded to the scene.
