Auto Shop Goes Up In Flames

DETAILS:
- A commercial building that sells tires and has a mechanic shop and a welding shop went up in flames.
- A worker told the owner it was possibly caused by a welding tool.
- Firefighters were seen working hard to put out the fire but were having trouble getting to residual flames behind tires that they would have to move by hand.
- LAPD has blocked off the intersection to traffic.
- Unknown if any injuries.
- 42 firefighters extinguished the fire in 37 minutes with no injuries reported. The structure, built in 1958, is less than 1,400 square feet and is a stand-alone tire shop. There were no other structures damaged and no injuries were reported
