Atherton: Tree Collapses Onto Home

12.25.2018 | 1:45 AM | ATHERTON – A family was displaced after a large tree fell onto their home, Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a tree that had fallen onto a home in the 40 block of Snowden Avenue around 1:45 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a large tree that collapsed for unknown reasons onto a home.

The impact of the collapse damaged a bedroom to the rear of the home however the family inside was uninjured.

The residents of the home have been displaced and are occupying a nearby hotel pending repairs to the house.
