DETAILS:
- LBFD & LBPD responded to reports of brush and palm trees on fire near the Los Cerritos wetlands and oil fields.
- Many vegetation erupted with fire as embers continued to fall from the large burning palm trees.
- LBPD blocked off all traffic in the area while LBFD worked to extinguish the fire for over an hour.
- LBFD is investigating this as arson
