Arsonist Arrested After Setting Building On Fire In Long Beach, CA

On Monday night a suspected arsonist set a boarded up home ablaze for an unknown reason. The building previously burned sometime last year. The home was said by community members to possibly be occupied by “Squatters” at the time of the fire being set, no injuries were reported other than the suspect. The roof collapsed in the blaze leaving only the outer walls standing.
The suspect was treated for minor burns, and released by the LBFD into LBPD custody pending an active arson investigation.
