Arson Suspect Goes On Rampage, Flees From Police (Caught On Camera)

DETAILS:

1. LAFD responded to a report of a structure fire
2. Firefighters & LAPD were advised that a woman may have lit contents on fire
3. LAPD was advised the woman began to destroy property & assault residents
4. The woman reportedly struck a woman in the head with a fire extinguisher and started spraying people with the extinguisher
5. She then broke the window of the front door
6. LAPD arrived and the woman fled on foot with the fire extinguisher in hand
7. Officers were able to get her into custody without further incident
8. LAFD was requested to evaluate the woman, it was believed she was under the influence
