Arson Eucalyptus Tree Fires | Ventura

01.16.2021 | 11:40 PM | VENTURA – Ventura City Fire Crews responded to at least two individual fires started in a row of eucalyptus trees in the strawberry fields off Olivas Park Dr and Telephone Rd.

It took crews several hours to handle the fire due to the lack of a constant water supply.

Ventura County Sheriff deputies responded to talk to a person of interest at the scene. These fires are now a common occurrence in the area are believed to be started intentionally.
