- The Glendale Police Department has confirmed that the suspect shown in this footage gathered on 09/28 is the homicide suspect who decapitated his mother inside her Glendale home.
- According to Glendale Police, the suspect Alejandro Gonzales, (seen in the featured clip being taken into custody by Glendale Police and US Marshals) admitted to decapitating his mother, 49-year-old Teresa DeJesus Cruz Rubio on Friday 09-27 inside her Glendale home near the 4400 Block of West Keim Drive.
- The suspect was spotted by the Phoenix Police Department, driving his moms vehicle around 2:00 AM on 09\28.
- Phoenix Police immediately notified the Glendale Police Department.
- Glendale Police with assistance from the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, responded to the area and located Gonzales in his moms SUV at a Pilot J truck stop located at 900 N. 99th Avenue near 99th Avenue and I-10 in Avondale. He was taken into custody shortly before 3:00 AM.
- He is currently being held on a $1,000,000 cash only bond.
