Armed Suspect Drops Shorts During Arrest | San Diego

06.15.2021 | 12:40 PM | SAN DIEGO – The victim attempted to stop a male transient from breaking into a building next to where the victim lives. The suspect came over to the victim and tried to get into the victims’ apartment. The suspect then went to the other side of the building and when the victim saw the suspect again, he was messing with the building’s water line.

The victim again said something and the suspect attacked the victim with two large kitchen-type knives. The two men fought and were wrestling and the victim was able to knock both of the knives away. The victim was able to get away and call the Police.

The suspect was found behind the apartment building. He was non-compliant for over 10-15 minutes with the officers’ orders, but finally surrendered without further incident and was taken into custody. The victim had some cuts and scrapes from the encounter.
