Armed Suspect Barricades Inside Venice Clinic
At approximately 4:00pm on March 24th, 2026, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of a man with a gun at the Venice Family Clinic located at 604 Rose Avenue in Venice.
Upon arrival, officers requested additional resources as the suspect barricaded himself inside the facility. Employees and patients were evacuated from the building as a precaution.
LAPD SWAT and K9 units responded to the scene, deploying armored vehicles while working to resolve the situation.
The suspect eventually exited the building and was struck with less-lethal rounds near the front of the clinic. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel treated the individual at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The investigation remained ongoing.
