Armed Robbery Suspects Pursuit Ends in Arrest

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-17-24 | Approx 11:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Sunset & 450 South
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAPD South East initiated a pursuit of armed robbery suspects
2. Officers chased the suspect through the South LA area, into Exposition Park
3. The suspect exited the 110 at Adams where he crashed into a white van
4. The suspect then continued and made his way to the 405 & Sunset
5. The suspect attempted to exit Sunset from the 405 but crashed
6. The driver bailed on foot and ran to a nearby hotel & over a fence onto the freeway where he was taken into custody
7. Officers took 3 other suspects that were in the vehicle into custody without further incident
8. It is unclear where the initial robbery took place but it is believed that they robbed a Taco Truck/Stand
