Armed Robbery Leads to Late-Night Pursuit Ending in San Marcos

1. At around 10:14 PM, reports of an armed robbery came out at a taco stand near the corner of Smilax Rd & South Santa Fe.
2. Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with employees, who stated they had been robbed by multiple suspects in a gray sedan.
3. At around midnight, Chula Vista Police were in pursuit of a vehicle traveling northbound I-5 that matched the description of the robbery vehicle.
4. The pursuit continued through several north county city’s.
5. The vehicle eventually came to a stop in the 300 block of Richmar Ave.
6. Two occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.
