LAPD received a 2nd call for a robbery at this taco stand around 10:45 pm.

Two black males, both armed with guns, robbed a taco stand located at the intersection of 89th St and S Avalon Blvd at around 10:00 pm Thursday.

The two suspects stole about 900 dollars from the taco sales and then went through one of the victims’ pockets, taking in an additional 250 dollars. The thieves didn’t stop there; they also took all the tips from a tip container.

All three workers were not harmed but were left shaken about what had just happened.

This is the third time they said they have been robbed, and one of the suspects they believe is the same one from a previous robbery.

After taking the cash, the two suspects ran Eastbound on 89th St from Avalon and North through an adjacent alley.

This taco stand robbery is similar to the one that occurred just last week, not too far away on 91st St and Figueroa St.
