DETAILS:

1. A man was arrested after he barricaded himself in an apartment in DTLA.
2. The incident lasted over two hours before officers took him into custody.
3. The man reportedly was armed with a knife and stick.
4. As a precaution, LAFD placed an inflatable rescue jump cushion outside on the street above the apartment window.
