Arleta: RV Fire Extends Into Shed

07.25.2019 | 11:25 PM | LOS ANGELES – An RV and a shed were destroyed after a fire broke out, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a fire in the 9700 block of Sharp Avenue around 11:25 PM.

Units arriving on scene found an RV with heavy smoke and fire showing and initiated efforts to extinguish the fire.

Access was initially hampered due to the location of the RV causing flame to spread into a nearby shed.

Within 30 minutes firefighters had control of the flames and prevented the fire from spreading any further.

A man who was living inside the RV at the time the fire broke out was able to escape without injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
