Arleta: Man Hoisted Out of Wash by LAFD

11.03.2020 | 12:00 AM | ARLETA – LAFD responded to reports of a person down in the area of 13525 Osborne St.

LAPD also received reports of a shooting that occurred in the area with the suspects hiding in the wash.

Firefighters arrived on scene and located a man with a compound fracture to his right leg.

It was determined that the man needed to be hoisted from the wash so a light-force was requested.

Firefighters placed the man inside of a litter basket and used an areal ladder to hoist the man from the wash to the street above.

He was taken by LAFD Paramedics to a local hospital.
