Arleta: Firefighters Protect Home From Fully Engulfed Shed

09.01.2019 | 5:09 AM | LOS ANGELES – Firefighters worked to protect a home from a fully engulfed shed fire, Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a fire in the 13300 block of Kelona Street in the Arleta neighborhood around 5:09 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a fully engulfed shed near a home and power lines and began efforts to evacuate residents.

Firefighters arriving on scene initiated an aggressive fire attack, dousing the flames before they could spread.

Initial reports indicate the shed was filled with highly flammable oils and solvents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
