Arleta: Firefighters Battle Stubborn Attic Fire

09.03.2019 | 11:09 PM | LOS ANGELES – Firefighters battled a stubborn attic fire that broke out, late Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire at a home in the 9000 block of Varna Avenue in the Arleta neighborhood around 11:09 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a single-story residence with heavy smoke and fire showing from the attic.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack and extinguished the stubborn fire in just over 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
