AR-15 Recovered After Wild Houston Pursuit

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on May 25, 2026, Houston Police responded to reports of a large car meetup near West Parker Road involving vehicles performing dangerous stunts in a parking lot.

According to scanner traffic, officers observed a white Ford pickup truck doing donuts, striking other vehicles, and allegedly brandishing an AR-15 style rifle.

Police initiated a pursuit after the truck fled the area, with the chase continuing northbound on Interstate 45 before ending near West Road in Houston.

The driver was taken into custody at the end of the pursuit.

Video from the scene showed officers recovering what appeared to be an AR-15 rifle along with a handgun from the vehicle.

No additional information regarding injuries or charges was immediately released.
