Apple Valley Swift Water Rescue

DETAILS:
- An intense thunderstorm tore through Apple Valley Wednesday night droppin heavy rain in the area. The heavy rain over a short period of time led to area flooding including over a number of low lying roadways. Apple Valley Fire was dispatched to the 15800 block of Kasota Road around 8:06pm for a swift water rescue. An elderly woman was caught up in one of these flooding areas and became trapped in her car. Fire personnel were able to rescue the woman from her car and get her to safety.
