Apartment Fire Displaces Multiple Residents In East Hollywood

An early morning apartment fire in East Hollywood forced residents and their pets to evacuate Thursday, leaving multiple people displaced from their homes.

On October 15, 2026, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to a fire at an apartment building located at 560 North Kingsley Drive.

Residents were forced to make a quick escape as the fire spread through the building, with several bringing their pets to safety.

Video from the scene showed displaced residents gathered along the street with their animals as emergency crews worked at the property.
