Anaheim: Worker Injured After Hand Becomes Stuck In Meat Grinder
05.19.2020 | 6:05 PM | ANAHEIM – A worker was injured after their hand become stuck in a meat grinder, Tuesday evening.
Authorities responded to reports of a machinery entrapment at the Pupuseria Comalapa #2 restaurant located in the 1700 block of West Lincoln Avenue around 5:05 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a female worker who’s hand became pinned in a meat grinder while grinding bananas.
An urban search and rescue team cut the meat grinder apart and transported the worker to UCI Medical Center with her hand still pinned in the equipment.
The extent of injuries was not immediately available and the incident remains under investigation.
